The Franklin House Tavern, named for Benjamin Franklin, in Schaefferstown, PA offers not only two different menus but also has a unique history. Built in 1746, the Franklin House Tavern is the oldest building still standing in Schaefferstown and has attracted many historical figures traveling from Lancaster or Harrisburg to Philadelphia, including our first president and Baron Wilhelm von Steigel of Manheim.

Each of the four dining rooms in the Tavern has its own personality and décor.
